    Guest lecture: “Srebrenica - 30 Years After. From Negation to Glorification?”

    Nedžad Avdić, survivor of the Srebrenica Genocide, witness at the Hague Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, author of the book THE HAGUE WITNESS, recipient of an honorary doctorate from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, for his contribution to human rights. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

    Roundtable: “Srebrenica - 30 Years After: How Do We Remember? How Do We Respond?”

    The department for South East European History and Anthropology organised a study trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina in May 2025. Places of remembrance and sites of crimes committed during the Second World War and the 1992-1995 war were visited, among others Potočari and Srebrenica. The roundtable would like to discuss impressions of the trip by excursion participants under the question "How do we remember? How do we respond?".
